Powerball has produced in this year 5 jackpots over $100,000,000. I don't think it needs any changes. Years ago, California lengthened its odds going from a 6/49 game to a 6/54 game, and actually had fewer large jackpots and actually saw sales go down. I remember earlier this year the Mega Millions jackpot was won at $20 million.

Now this is really something. I was just talking with a friend of mine who drives trucks over the country. We were discussing all of this this past Sunday. I told him he should consider the Powerball dventhough the jackpot is only at 21 million. At first, he didnt believe the thing would hit so soon. I said YES it can and lo and behold IT DID! Is this ESP or what

1 Powerball ticket from Minnesota won $21 million in tonight's drawing (7/7/2004).I'm sure this will be the ammunition some people are looking for to say does Powerball need to be changed? and there are too many states in the game, so it needs to be changed. Same thing happened when Mega Millions was hit a few times in a row, but look at it now.Likewise, I think there's a lot of people thinking the opposite - glad there are more winners of lesser amounts.
