Speaking of lottery oddities, how about 5 final digits in one single draw or 5 or more decades in one single draw?I haven't done any research on this but, I did come across 5 decades in the Ohio Super Lotto 4/3/04 and I had to readjust my spreadsheet that tracks decades to accommodate for such an occurrence. I've read from different sources over the years that 1-2-3-4-5-6 is the most popular combination played in most lotteries, so if it ever comes up, there will be a lot of winners. When you look at its history in most lotteries, it has done as well as any other combination that has never won when you consider the smaller tier prizes.RJOh

i've played 1-2-3-4-5-6 before, just in case someone decides to rig it because everyone else is too smart to play those numbers. if you played those numbers, and they came up, you'd probably be the only winner.

Interesting, but wouldn't that be exciting if those were the numbers drawn?The only major lottery drawing I could ever remember that was close to that was the Mega Millions drawing just last year from Maryland...those beautiful numbers were.....1 2 3 12 37 and 35. Geesh...If knew beforehand, I would have had at least half of that jackpot that Bernadette received.

If those numbers ever did come up, those who play those numbers better be prepared to share the jackpot with a bunch of other people. It wouldn't be smart to play that set of numbers but there are a lot of people who do.

I don't think it will ever happen...too many winners! i think certian numbers have been fixed never to come up, because of loss to the game.

I read on a site that the numbers have never been in order from 01-06. Is this true? I guess I research the games...but what if they came up 01-06. That would be crazy!MP
