It would be good if the wheel can be printed and also copied and pasted into other programs like CoverMaster when Lotto Architect is done with it. For example Gail Howard will print finished wheels and to a file, but you have to strip away the numbers counting the lines before you can copy and past it into other software to further work with it.

RJOh, this feature is not required for full wheels by the means of an abbreviated wheel as I described in a previous post. There, we don't look for coverage matters but mostly for correct filters to trap the winning combination. This means we can filter down to 99% rejection rates and still don't mind as long as our filters are set correct. This is why we don't talk about coverage rates on full wheels. The program does not display coverage on abbreviated wheels.

If you watch an abbreviated wheel being built in CoverMaster at between half and two thirds of the known number of lines needed to cover you're at about 90% not 50%. Closing the last 10% takes up to half the lines in the wheel. Take for example the best known 3if6in49 number 163 line wheel, at 100 lines you're at roughly 98%-99% building to those settings in CoverMaster. BobP

There is a fault on the calculations regarding the 80% guarantee. This assumes the initial abbr. wheel has 406 tickets which obviously it is not the case with the 102 WR wheel. I'm sorry my mind is very tired these days. The main idea is that if you remove half of the generated tickets in an abbreviated wheel, you'll have >50% coverage. You can try this on wheel generators programs. I'll come up with a more correct example later for filtered abbreviated wheels and coverage guarantee rates.

BobP says something that is absolutely right. Abbreviated wheels are designed to ensure an at least hit eg 3 if 6 with 100% guarantee. As long as a signle generated ticket removed, then the wheel loses this 100% rate and indeed removal of a few tickets only reduces this rate well below 80%. Full wheels don't suffer from this. Each ticket is tested against an eg 6 if 6 in a pick 6 game. You keep it or remove it without affecting any such guarantee rates. The filters are then set and any combination that doesn't pass the filter is removed. Any guarantee the original wheel had is reduced from 100% when the first line is rejected.

Just another observation that comes to mind.Take a 6/48 game. It's just a hypothetical game for consideration. (It's twice 24 numbers.)If some software takes 24 numbers and predicts 2, 3 or 4 winners, it means: ... The other 24 numbers, not chosen by the software, had 4, 3, or 2 winners. To have prediction value in 24 numbers the software would have to consistently pick 4 winners, leaving just 2 in the other 24. No need to say, the bulk of the programs produce results close to classic probability, which means they cannot perform better than luck. Next follows an analysis of classic probability to get a clear understanding of the typical rates.Fl... [ More ]
