If these games are being controlled, like the ridiculous payouts we see, wouldnt that mean that the odds they post are incorrect! Duh! I dont know about anyone else, but for a lottery to have 2 and 3 straight winners on pic 3 is crazy. Likewise no straight winners consistently on pic 4 is alarming. Bottom Line is YOU CANT WIN. Thats why I am called losingjeff.

Take it from me. When you are one off hundreds of times, and I mean hundreds of times a year, you cant win with RNG. There is alot of talk going on about these RnG's right now. Funny isnt it! Just maybe more ppl are seeing that the house rules. It is pretty bad when you know you are a loser before you buy the tickets. I can win all day long on paper, but play it means forget it! The best bet is to buy tickets in a State with ping-pong balls. Now that is without a doubt a fair game. It is really... [ More ]

IMO random is as random does whether it comes from a machine or a computer. I think that computers can be even more random than a machine can be. Computers eliminate the bias that is inherent in any mechanical system. However the potential to abuse such a process in favor of the house is something that should be regulated and monitored against. This should be done by an independent agency and not left up to the state lotteries to assure us that the process is indeed fair.Personally, the more r... [ More ]

this is actually a very questionable practice. the lotteries have so much time between when the machines cut off for the drawing and when they announce the numbers. they say they do that so they can make sure that it wasn't fixed, but then again, they could be using the time to see how many people played that set of numbers that won. another factor is that the lotteries are allowing people to view the drawings from a monitor outside the drawing room, but then again, they could just be showing... [ More ]

While it is true that computerized drawings are not truly random, you still have just as good a chance of winning with that system as you would with a traditional ball machine, since it is still possible your numbers could come out.

I don't like computer picked numbers drawings because you never know if the numbers that are played/bet for the games are somehow filtered and then tallied so the state could earn more money and pay out on a percentage of the actual bets. Then again I could be entirely wrong about this and everything is on the up and up. I know I will not be playing more than one or two pick 3/4s when I travel to DC to play powerball.

Does anyone have opinions about the new computer generated lottery numbers? DC has joined in this new way of picking the numbers; however, they've expanded the time between cut-off and the actual pull. And, you can only see the number pulled, but no other numbers -- were there any other numbers??? A few people who play in DC are very upset and threatening to not play anymore. I personally enjoy seeing the balls floating around.Love to hear your opinion.http://www.dclottery.com/pdfs/Computeri... [ More ]
