I would also have to say that one million is not enough. Most people can't even retire with $1,000,000 according to many news story that MSN has posted lately. It would a nice winfall for the time being but that isn't enough to retire. And if you could live off that million...have fun in your wooden box that you live in...hahaBrad

Sure enough 370,000 ain't chicken feed. But that's not going to change the fact that everything costs more today than yesterday. That everything's going to cost more tomorrow and the days after that. If you are already stable in your environment. That is own you own home have everything you need to survive. Well, you have said a mouthful. However, if one is left with $370,000 and after the bills are paid (hopefully, the bills are not $370,000), a person can and should sleep a little easier. Just remember no amount of money is going to last you if you don't devise a way to recover ever dollar you spend. If you won 1,000,000 and take the cash = 500,000 then they tax that your left with about 370,000. Don't quit your day job.

I would not call myself greedy but if wanting to win millions of dollars so that I can live a better life is then so be it. Besides financial prosperity is what everyone is searching for and I would like to believe that some day in my life I could have a win big enough to put me on easy street.

Of course if a take home prize was either 1 million dollars or 10 million dollars...you would take the 10 million dollars. Maybe that is the problem, people cannot live within they're means and they just want more and more and more and are never happy. Do you consider yourself greedy?MP
