I am in charge of a pool that plays Mega Millions in Maryland and Powerball in Pennsylvania.  2 of us always independently check the tickets and compare notes afterwards.  With the Mega Millions tickets we have never been wrong in calculating our winnings.  But with Powerball, when I go to cash the tickets I seem to get unpredictable results.  Sometimes we get a few dollars more than we figured, sometimes a few less - over time it seems to even out. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>Caution to the wise.  This applies to all lottery players across the USA.I collect my Pennsylvania Cash 5 tickets for a month or two then have them checked at my local lottery retailer.  I new I had a 3 out-of-5 winner in my collection of tickets.  During the scanning at the retailer, I had only a few $1 winners.  We doubled checked and did find the ticket with the 3 out-of-5, but it was rejected as a winning ticket.
