I would like to see someone with excel do some research by putting in past keno winning numbers to see if it can come up with a pattern of say the hottest 4-5-6 numbers so we can try them in our different states and report back to the LP any positive results. Any one up for the challenge? Thanks for listening.

For me, video keno is almost addicting. It's fast, you get to try a multitude of simple theories quickly. After a while you can see repetitive parterns emerging. Then it becomes finding the sequences of the patterns. Yes, I can understand how you can do it all day long.*L*As far as a stategy beyond pattern recognition, I have none, given the restrictions placed on you in the casinos.

has anybody seen people play keno. i was in mass. last year, and i saw a lady who played at least 20 sets of numbers, and i think she bet more than $1, and i remember she played those numbers for more than 1 draw. some people will just spend their whole day playing keno.

I avoid Keno in California, it has half the payout compared to Nevada. I'd like to see more comments in the post also. I've tried a few limited searches on the web, and all anyone wants to give you is the odds. No real approaches, good or bad, without paying a price.

thanks john.you are right about the payoffs, but difficult to put the right combo together. I try and stay with a 5 spot because that stays under the tax limit. Any suggestions are appreciated by anyone.

retxx -According to the last information I've collected and posted, Massachusetts has one of the more generous overall payout percentages for a state-run Keno game in the U.S. The 1 Spot pays back 62.5%, the 2 Spot pays back 68.04% and the rest of the games pay back between 69% and 70%.gljohn

JKING -Video Keno almost always pays a higher payout percentage than the casino lounges, mainly due to the smaller space and fewer employees required. A lot of casinos in LV are closing their Keno lounges in favor of more slots. They still won't let me bring my laptop in there, though, so I can instantly figure the payout percentages for each game.....<g>gljohn

Well, had a great time in Vegas. Played a lot of video Keno. Found the best system was pattern recognition. Hit $100 jackpot 5 times and oh so close to that $1750 and $2500 prise. Keno with the physical balls was much tougher and slower.
