yeah. they really need a set starting jackpot level, but a multi-state game would really be a nice thing for FL. any idiot can tell that the players want a multi-state game. the FL lotto gets hit too often to build up a huge jackpot.

Texas is currently talking to California and Florida officials about a 3-state game. No information on what game might be played has been revealed. Apparently, California is willing, but Florida is still thinking about it.I think the game, if one developes, will be jackpot oriented - i.e. very difficult to win and big profits for the politicians.See minutes of TLC meeting for August at the Texas lottery website.

Yes it would be nice if powerball would change if California joined but I dont think they would. After all megamillions pushed the big lie of 400 million pots and have had a long string of small pots. It would make sense for California to join Mega Millions, because as DoctorEw mentioned, no state bordering California has Mega Millions, and for Florida to join Powerball, since no state bordering Florida has Powerball. I must also point out that California and Florida are currently the only two states with lotteries that don't have Powerball or Mega Millions. California does not need to go multi-state though, because they are one hell of a big state

It was recently announced that CA will be looking into a multi-state game. Which game will it be
