One does not need a ready replacement in any position to discharge an employee for just cause, but, with only knowing the skimpy details in the article, was her discharge performance-based or politically-based? Only the courts can decide and it&#x27;s up to the State to prove their case. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>It is called  At Will  employment, the alternative is called  Just Cause  where an employer needs to show just cause why they fired you. It varies by state.WHat&#x27;s the greater wrong here? At-Will isn&#x27;t really even a law, but it is a tool far too often abused in the outsourcing of thousands of jobs... I think the at-will abuse is the real crime here. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>https://www.lotterypost.com/news/90387.htm  There&#x27;s the article.  There would be one small problem with her case.  There is a law in PA that says that an employer can pretty much fire you for no reason, provided they aren&#x27;t discriminating against race, sex, sexual orientation, or religion.  Long story short-  SHE WON&#x27;T HAVE A CASE!!!  I only brought this back up because it pisses me off when people file lawsuits when they know darn well that they won&#x27;t have a case.</p>]]></description>
