i do like instant vending machines though. it cuts dowjn on the error that happens when some idiot tries to sell you a game you don't want to play, and you can put them almost everywhere and the possibility of someone trying to steal tickets (even though it happened at the machine at my old work) is very small.

I've had it happen where a little SOB hits the button with my money in there. I just play the ticket. Who knows what could happen? I will politely ask them not to do that again, and help them find their parents.

We have them here in Pa. Very convienient at the mall and grocery store, but one word of warning: When you are playing, that is feeding the machine, watch out for little kids who see you and want to sneak up behind you and slap the buttons. that happened to me a few times, and then their mother yelled at me for yelling at them.If that isn't enough, then we are getting new machines (one in our local mall) that will print out on line games, like lotto and daily number. they have them in PA and OH. i've gotten a few winners, but nothing big. one thing i like is the one-shot feature. here's how it works. let's say you put in a $5 bill, and want 5 of the same $1 ticket. you hit the one-shot button, andthen you hit the button for the ticket. it makes it so you spend the rest of your money on that one ticket.

I didn't know there were scratch ticket vending machines until visiting New York several years ago. Here in Louisiana, we don't have lottery vending machines, we have to go to the cashier for them at Circle K.I honestly don't believe your chances are necessarily better with a vending machine or bought from a human. It all depends on the odds of the game in question.

Does anyone use them?Do you think there are more losers in them then say point of sale?Alot of times I go buy machines and the big tickets are sold out..just $1 and $2 games are left.
