In this particular application, permutations are the number of unique ways to arrange the numbers shown.Example 1:aaab - 0001In this example there are four permutations - i.e. four different ways of arranging the given number. aaab refers to the number pattern - three of the numbers (a) being identical and another number (b) is different.
