It's rather like TV news saying, Watch out for bad fish. A few more clues would be nice. If this person was smooth enough to take in Winner2Be the usual scam filters may not be enough. I mean, I'm safe enough because I don't play in pools, but if I did and there was a bad one I think I'd kinda like to know which one it is to avoid. For a change I fully agree with Colin, I for one, have never been in any kind of lottery pool with anybody YET , also, not because she had problems with one, that does not mean, that anybody or everybody else will also have problems as she said that she did, also as it was said, maybe she just expected to win and didn't, if so, that is normal, most lottery pools don't win, at best, they come even or almost even, people do expect to win yes, but that does not mean that they will, also, that's on... ToddThe problem is that when an accusation like this is made there are a lot of possibilities and the cloud of suspician can fall upon others for no justifiable reason.Normally, I would leave something like this alone because I don't know whether the person is just looking for sympathy and maybe a donation. I respect Winner2Be's decision to keep the person's name to herself. She does not wish to make it known for her own reasons, and I do not doubt her story.Please do not give her a hard time about holding back the person's name, as I think she has a great attitude about the whole thing.Her main point is to be very careful when money is involved.

Unless you're talking big numbers there isn't much difference.I understand in Spain a big proportion of the tickets are sold through syndicates.Colin
