If the sum of the three digit in a Play-3 game are subjected to a mod9 calculation, one gets a set of digits from 0 to 8 because the 9 becomes a zero. Thus there will be 111 of each digit and 112 of 0. A test of 408 draws from CT yielded a mean of 4.02 with a std.dev. of 2.56. This result is very close to the theoretical values. A shorter run of 108 draws yielded a mean of 12 with a std.dev. of 3.64 because individual digit data varied from 9 to 18. Bertil
