			<description><![CDATA[<p>i&#x27;ve seen some successful lotteries that do little to no advertising.  i have never seen any vermont lottery ads.  NY doesn&#x27;t do much advertsing.  OH doesn&#x27;t do as much anymore.  Mass.  does very little, and profits are up.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Illinois advertises its lottery like wildfire and uses celebrities like Bernie Mac to promote lots of things.It works, but it not like IL residents need an excuse to play but advertising is everywhere from the side of our buses to billboards and television commercials.Folks, we gotta wake up the lottery is a business and any business person knows that without advertising your sales drops.Webmaster Leroy</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>PA used to have commercials for Powerball when it was first starting in PA.  they also advertise for their instant games during the drawing show.  ohio ran a commercal in which they asked what day you wanted to be a millionaire (false advertising?).  they also have little ads showing the mega millions jackpot, as well as billboards showing the jackpot.  west virginia is big on advertisin for powerball (must be the suport system of the economy).  every lottery retailer has a little sign they out</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I live in Louisiana and my wife is from New York. When she came here, she was a little surprised to see the Lousiana Lottery advertising on TV, billboards, etc. She says she&#x27;d never seen ads for the lottery there.Lately, the lottery has been running a TV ad campaign for scratch tickets. They also were pushing Cash Quest on billboards and TV using ads featuring Jimmie Walker and Phyllis Diller.They even will do promotions in which they send a representative out to stores to give out Lottery theme... &#x5b;&#xa0;<a href="https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/94557">More</a>&#xa0;&#x5d;</p>]]></description>
