I am a Delawarean who will not buy any online games in this state due to the computerized drawings, obvious rigging, and blantant apathy of the lottery director. I also have my doubts about the scratch-offs too.

I wonder if the other poster is the lottery director himself...

Thanks so much for pronouning that the federal government will not regulate a state matter. Now that I can picture a big machine with 625,000 balls in it, I feel much better about computerized drawings too. I really appreciate it, everything is so much clearer now, I'll give it up.

Congress cannot and will not consider legislation to regulate State Lottery's. Give it up folks. I heard someone complain about randomizers being used in raffle drawings. Imagine a machine large enough to hold 625,000 ping pong balls in PA to draw the number.

Todd, I know that MM isn't computerized. However, on the July 28th drawing, there were technical difficulties. I would be not happy if MM gets computerized in random number generator. Why do most games are computerized instead of ball drawn? It's not fair and get manipulated.

The Lottery computers are picking numbers no one has picked. They have a database of all the numbers and are making the jackpot go up and up so the state makes more money. We need to expose this fraud. I have also heard theories they can rig the mechanical drawings by putting air in the ping pong balls. We need to make the system fair.

I recently moved from IN to Nc and I can honestly say that I hate computerized drawings. I used to love to play the daily 3 and daily 4. I was winning and then i hit a year long slump. I couldn't figure it out. Sadly, I found out why. I quit playing after that. They didn't even tell us that they switched to computerized drawings for a whole year. They ruined the Hoosier Lottery in my opinion. I guess I will stick to my first love, Powerball. I hope NC doesn't make a horrible mistake.

I don't want to see PB and/or MM (the multistate games) to be computerized anytime soon. Besides, I don't like computerized games so they manipulate and generate more revenue. If people win jackpots for computerized drawings, less people will play these games. Computerized drawings hurt the state's lottery report card, so I rather see ball drawings to be fair.

We don't need a computer to pick random numbers. We as players should be able to watch the drawings live on TV and watch the balls roll down the shute. If it becomes a computerized game, I won't play any more, the odds are bad enough now. I find it interesting if a state is willing to go to computerized multi state lotteries and feel they are safe , how do these same states justify not being able to buy tickets online within your OWN state because of all the fraud potential. i'm hoping that both of the new states to join the lottery will be ball oriented and stay that way.north carolina and oklahoma deserve a fair game.....
