My advice is to get very friendly with the owner or manager of the store. They will have no problem explaining how it works.

Todd,Do you have an inside source who knows about those lottery machines? None of the sellers I've encountered knows any more than just enough to sell the tickets. When I try to ask questions or want to take a look at the machine, they always get rather suspicious and nervous. I guess they think I want to try to rob them.
