Depending on the state and the law, you may be able to assemble enough information to establish an overall game payout percentage for scratchoff games from the back of the ticket or the rulebook. Simply multiply the number of winners in each category by the dollar amount, add them up and divide by the number of tickets to be sold (multiplied by the purchase price, if not $1.00).Evidently the game in Wisconsin you're citing is relying on more winners at lower prize levels. I am looking for people from other states to tell me the payouts on your $1 scratchers and the odds of the high top prizes. this would be much appreciated, i think we may be getting screwedwe have a scratcher with a $100 grand prize and 1:48,000 odds, sure it wins $1 1:6 but who buys these things to win what they paid WHAT A DUMB IDEA.the highest prize I've seen here on a scratcher was $800 and i believe most states are in the thousands............god i hate wisconsin sometimes
