The odds are so insulting lol. The only thing i like about that game is it's 2 games for $1. I think im gonna play Take Five more often since there's less total numbers in the draw (39), and matching 3 #'s gives you $25 versus Lotto's $1 for matching 3 #'s.... [ More ]

I spent $200 on MM back when it was $298. My sister put in $100 and I put up the other $100. Out of all those tickets we only matched the MB on 1ticket......what is that $2. Thats when I realized that spending alot doesn't mean that you will win. Since that day, the most I will spend is $25 ($5 on a regular set I play all the time and $20 QP).The most that I have spent on the state lotto was $40 back when the Texas Lotto was up to $145mill.

I only spend a couple of dollars when buying tickets for just myself. I have been in office pools that have spend as much as $2,000 on a single draw. My share has been as high as $250 in an office pool. These have been rare occasions when there was a good buying opportunity. I define a good opportunity when the expected value of a ticket is close to or greater than the cost of the ticket. A good example is the current Oregan Lottery.Good luck,Jake
