Wild Business Websites
Preface: The intent is NOT to offer free advertising to any of the Companies listed below. But instead, as it is typical with me, to make fun of what is obviously a lack of a thought process some Corporate Business's tend to have when they try to rush online to get their Name on the WWW. Hope you all get a laugh out of this as well.
All of these are legitimate companies that didn't spend quite enough time considering how their online names might appear . . an...

SEND TEXT MESSAGES TO CELL PHONES USING YOUR COMPUTER
What if you wanted to send a short text message to somebody's cell phone? Could you do this using the Internet? The answer is... perhaps. You could generally do this by going to their cell provider's Web site. But what if you don't know which cell service they currently use? Not to worry, because now you don't have to. You can send short text messages to anyone's cell phone by going to the SMS Everywhere Web site at color...

I kept the info data archived on my computer and or on a flash-drive and just a few minutes ago I got some Web Space and it is not exactly the same as I had before long ago, but I uploaded the site on to it and from what I can see it looks and works exactly the same as the original.

A GPS Device for Keeping Tabs on the Children
Gone are the days when parents stood on the back porch and shouted for their kids.
The AmberWatch Foundation, a nonprofit group focused on preventing child abduction, announced the pending launch of a Global Positioning System software application called AmberWatch Mobile. Parents can use the application to monitor their children's movements and children can use it to send an alert to their parents notifying them of their exact location.
The software enabling the serv...

Article published today
I had my first article published this morning at DotNetSlackers , an excellent community site for Microsoft .NET developers.
As I go through the very long process of re-programming this entire site using Microsoft's ASP.NET 2.0 technology (and other .NET technologies), there are lots of unique challenges created, just by the nature...

IE7 has now overtaken IE6
I am happy to be able to report the news that is the subject of this blog entry: that IE7 has now apparently overtaken IE6 for browser share.
I base this information on the Active Users page here at Lottery Post, in addition to regular web site log analysis.
Over the past several weeks I have monitored consistent statistics showing at least 25% more IE7 users than IE6 users. (Looking further down the chain...
