Sell the Mass. Lottery?
Editor's note: The columnist's biased language, such as per-sucker spending was left as-written, since this is an opinion piece. Steve Bailey Boston Globe Massachusetts Treasurer Tim Cahill created a buzz last week when he proposed that the state get into the casino business before the Mashpee Wampanoags beat us to the slots. Lost in the headlines was his analysis of the future of the state's cash cow of a state lottery, which by almost every measure is the envy of the industry. In shor

Lottery harder to win in Atlantic Canada
Lottery players are twice as likely to die in a car crash on the way to the store to get their tickets than to win the big jackpot, says the Toronto statistician who has crunched the numbers of the Ontario lottery. Jeffrey Rosenthal said the odds in Atlantic Canada seem to be stacked even higher against ticket holders, in light of news that retailers have won 10 times more than statistically probable over a six-year period. If you buy it and you are not careful, even if you do defy the od

Nationwide, lotteries pay for far more than education
Martha Keller is a 78-year-old resident of Altoona, Pa., who frequently takes the bus from her apartment on Walnut Avenue to her doctor's office or the local senior center. Chandni Amin is a 19-year-old nursing student at Georgia State University in Atlanta. Keller and Amin have little in common save for one thing both are benefiting directly from money raised by state lotteries. Lotteries help pay for everything from education to economic development, buses to baseball stadiums. In Penn

Lee VanKelis
Received a sales letter via snail mail, pretty good teaser info, anyone else get this or familiar with it? It's from a G G Company in Pompon Lakes, NJ , oddly an internet search turns up nothing on the company or this VanKelis. They're peddling lottery, keno, and slot systems, the lottery system is based on Peak Retreat cycles and the way numbers move. He says numbers are involved on one of three cycles at all times, peaking, retreating, or trending sideways. (A lot of that t

How to Hit Daily online.
This is just in its earlier stages of research but it seems to work not bad for online play for what i can see so far. If you think this may be a good way to play back test it further as i am still working with it. Does not seem to work so good on pick 4 but need to study it more and maybe apply +or-1 to it. I am posting here for more exposure Todd may move it if he sees fit. Here is an example use any state you desire. I went with Arizona in this example, Dec 1st drawn # 345 Dec

Star power
Few Americans are aware of the immense scientific contributions of India and China. Albert Einstein wrote: We owe a lot to the Indians, who taught us how to count, without which no worthwhile scientific discovery could have been made. The number zero was introduced by an Indian mathematician named Aryabhatta. We take the significance of the number zero for granted. Yet, until one thousand five hundred (1500) years ago, mathematicians did not realize that it was necessar

Betslips Plays for 10/30
You're welcome, Em and cps. I'm working on some filters to bring the number of combos way down to manageable levels. Had the IL Midday boxed today from the full list but would have missed it with the filters (all high digits). But the list came down to 13 combos so it's worth further study. Just for the heck of it I'll list the filtered lists for these draws. IL EVE 015 027 045 057 129 145 239 247 457 TX EVE 025 029 045 049 057 067 078 079 136 138 145 146 148 149 245 249 345
