Study: Hoosier Lottery has worst financial decline in USA
Another state with computerized drawings fares poorly Has Indiana considered boldly changing back to real drawings? Proceeds from Indiana's lottery were down by more than 17 percent in the past fiscal year, marking the sharpest decline in profits nationwide. Hoosier Lottery proceeds fell by nearly $40 million. The state's profit from scratch-off tickets, Powerball and other lottery games dropped from $217 million in the 2008 fiscal year to $178 million in fiscal year that ended June 30.

Some may say times are tough, but lottery spending doesn't show it
Illinoisans apparently haven't lost an appetite for lottery tickets, even though some say they are pinching pennies elsewhere in their personal budgets. Sales figures for the Illinois Lottery were up nearly 3 percent to about $2.08 billion in the fiscal year that ended in June. In the year before, the lottery hit $2 billion in sales for the first time. Both increases come with a steady increase in the popularity of the lottery's instant games. Woman 'hiding lottery win from husband'
emilyg, I avoid nothing in life. But since you asked here are just a couple examples. Peggy Vaughan, author of The Monogamy Myth, numbers show that 60% of men, and about 40% of women, will have at least one extramarital affair in their lifetime. However, since she also concludes that accuracy is questionable to some extent, there is no way to be certain. The Kinsey Report stated that 50-60% of middle and upper-income males under the age of 60 had participated in at least one affair, and that

Resolutions for the lottery in 2015
HAPPY NEW YEARS TO ALL ON LOTTERY POST!!! It is now 2015, a new year with new changes. No year is exactly the same as the previous one. I hope everyone out there in Lottery Land has a safe and enjoyable New Years Day. Last year bought many surprise and unwanted changes but I think I will remember the first time I won my first Daily 4 the most, twice in the same week I believe. That was a great time and the feat hasn't been duplicated since but I wont give up. My main focus is on the

I wish I knew if it was coming from 951 or 260....it could be time for an 00 again...maybe from 951 but that's just a thought...haven't checked anything...couldn't sleep for pain last night so just got up...need to go study some but most of the time when I spend a lot of time studying I don't get it...same with scratch offs, if I ask what the number of the card is to see if I think it'll be a winner I don't win on it but when I randomly buy one I do...go figure! If it comes from 260...I'm thi

Determining Hot and Cold Numbers
I like quetions like this. I feel I have been handed the opportunity to add my two cents worth in the infantile study of the lottory. Here is my two cents worth. The opinion is worth what you paid for it. Consistency is the key when employing hot and cold numbers. How one decides what is hot and what is cold is, at this stage of the study, of minor importance. Some people use the last 55 draws (assuming MM or Powerball) and take the five numbers with the least amount of hits as cold an

HOt & Cold Numbers Ratio Pattern....
Right now i am working on PIck6, I am using 300 draws sample of RnG...Sometimes i think you need more draws, something like 500 to see results for pick 6... I will also like to stress that for live drawing you need to go with the most common ratio... My hunch is that for pick6 it will only select most of the time all 6 numbers been cold numbers or maybe 1 hot number and 5 cold numbers but i have yet to see and study it... Theoretically speaking if it selects most of the time 6 cold numb

Study Proves Number Bias in UK Lottery
When you next select your lottery numbers, be sure to pick 38. That is the conclusion of a previously unpublished report by the National Lottery Commission, which unearthed a series of statistical anomalies that, taken at face value, suggest the lottery might not be as random as was previously thought.Completed in early 2002, the nine-page document entitled 'The Randomness of the National Lottery' was meant to offer irrefutable proof that it was random. But the statisticians who produced the rep
