Lottery Hanky Panky
Anytime computers and networking is involved, there's always room for hanky panky. As an IT admin, with enterprise rights, anything can be done and all these lotteries are networked. The speed at which things are calculated should have no room for error, unless it's 'human error' which means manipulation/tampering. Code it, program it, run it, check for errors, if all is proper, leave it alone. But when jackpots get this big, and supposedly the lottery proceeds are meant for education(either a l

Help with automated number generation from a table
The combinations frequency and occurrences generated from that site do not look right to me. It says the box combination of 3457 shows up 48 times. By looking at that grid, I only see 3457 about 9 times maximum. Either a system error or they are calculating the combinations frequency using multiple grids for the same draw. Any thoughts?

Why doesn't following a statistic mean that the numbers that are drawn most often will be seen in th
statistics is going around in a labyrinth, to begin with it is not knowing whether to take the numbers as they came out or not knowing if it is better to take the numbers from the most recent to the oldest. All these distortions can be poor management of the information and a fatal error when analyzing the numbers

I do too. It takes me nearly an hour to come up with the best number as you mentioned lots and lots of trial and error. I found that keeping a notebook and your workouts in order will help you notice patterns and your able to pick a better number. I won all 3 games yesterday ( midday evening and night) still working on how to hit a straight tho! But overall my strategy works despite it having to take a while to produce a number it works!

You wouldn't have that problem if you had a program that printed directly onto a playslip... Although, I have had additional markings when playslips are set on a greasy counter or held by a person behind the counter that has greasy fingers... I even had one grease mark on the highest multiple plays once... Had a heck of a time getting them to admit it was their own greasy fingers that made the mark and correct their own error...

Although I've never refused a ticket that was created in error, it's my understanding (but I dont have any proof of it) that if the customer refuses the ticket, the cashier has three choices. Also, I've never had a conversation with any clerk in any store as to what their options are when a ticket is created in error. That said, here's what I've heard/been told - The clerk can try to sell it to someone else, they can buy it for themselves, or they can cancel/void it. Years ago while I lived

Apparently hea in Ga., the Clerkz must not be able to cancel ticketz printed in error.. I once recently caught a Clerk attempting to sneakily get ME to pay for a MM ticket he printed in error somehow earlier that day.. He hid the $10. MM ticket behind my self-pick PB ticketz.. but before I left the premises, I checked my ticketz..Lo Behold there it wuzz..hidden in the back of my Ticketz. So, I went back to the Clerk, told him to give me my money back, and take hiz MM Ticket he tried

It was fitting that in my arrogance I made the same error that I ridiculed you for eddessaknight. I had it coming and I accept it. Rather than try to claim that it was all in fun I see that it was unnecessary and cruel. Please forgive me. I promise to rise above this low point and follow the words of Thumper from the Movie Bambi. If you can t say something nice, don t say anything at all. Best wishes eddessaknight .
