New Mega Millions Jackpots
Why is the Ohio Lottery website the first to show the new jackpots for Mega Millions, instead of the Official Website or even the Georgia Lottery Website?

I hope a Non-Californian wins the jackpot.
Lots of Powerball states rarely win jackpots simply because they're small.

First Time Ever PB/MM & Texas 2 Step
It's not the first time Mega Millions has had two consecutive $200+ million jackpots. They did back in November 2005, when it hit $315 million, and on the run before that, it hit $250 million. This is, however, the first time Powerball had two consecutive $200+ million jackpots, and also the first time Powerball had three consecutive $100+ million jackpots.

Powerball vs Mega Millions.
I know mathematician will say it doesn't make sense, but 10 years ago lotteries had better odds with large jackpots. I can remember when Ohio SuperLotto a 649 games had jackpots of $50M+ and when it ended it was lucky to get to $6M+. Could it be that some lottery players got smarter and it's actually harder for jackpots to keep rolling today? Or maybe annuities paid better rates?

Multiple jackpot wins question?
Nobody in the history of Powerball and Mega Millions has ever won both jackpots.

Reach $300m in these current runs
Powerball heavily inflates their jackpots, so I'll say Powerball is the most likely.
