So what is the total of tickets sold in the US compared to California= 24 mil vs 13M for NY and TX, 15M Florida. Do you see when you add all the other states numbers up they dwarf California but California still wins the Billion dollar jackpots and nothing seems strange????? This is why I only play my State Lottery games. TN has never won the Big Jackpots. I'm been done with Power Ball. I only play TN. Cash, and TN Daily. It's a smaller jackpot, but is more than enough retire on.

If you are going to compare California then keep in mind it borders Nevada. They do not have a lotto there and many of the residents and tourist will make a trip to the state line to buy tickets. So basically the count of tickets sold in Ca is actually for two states...not one. This is also the reason the store on the state line sells more scratch offs than anywhere else and frequently win smaller jackpots .

Congrats to the winner/winners. I am done with it all now. It's not rigged, but it sure as hell feels like it. Plus MUSL refuses to raise the starting jackpot back to $40 million. Kind of a slap to the true player. The deal was $2.00 increase. bigger jackpots and bigger starting jackpots. Time to put my money elsewhere. Done with scratch offs, slot machines, nudge/skill machines, jackpot games, and on line. I am not a young man anymore and I cannot absorb the losses like I used to.
