Winner who claimed half of $395 million Mega Millions jackpot sues California Lottery for other half
* When Lahijani showed up in June to pick up half the jackpot, he could have told the lottery officials that he was the winner of the entire jackpot, but at present, could not locate the 2nd ticket.
Instead, according to the report, he did not want to talk to the press, nor were lottery officials made aware of his decision to be paid out in a lump sum or not. The guy was private, and that's his choice. Fast forward to December suddenly he's accusing the lottery of being dishonest, lacking in

California Mega Millions lottery ticket splitting $395 million jackpot will expire in one day
Wonder why they had to wait till the very end to file the lawsuit?
Nway, legalities is not my area of expertise, so off to buy my MM QP for tonight's drawing.
I promise to keep my ticket safe.

California Mega Millions lottery ticket splitting $395 million jackpot will expire in one day
If he bought both and took possession of both why didn't we hear about it when he claimed the (first) half of the prize? If he bought both and never got one of them why didn't we hear about it when he claimed the (first) half of the prize? If that happened to me I'd be telling the claims people what happened.
For the latter a lawsuit seems appropriate, and it might even be even successful. For the former he's probably SOL because they always tell us that we need to have the ticket to claim t

Skill games remain banned in Kentucky after judge dismisses lawsuit
Nobody thought this lawsuit would get out of any County Circuit Court and they were correct. These skill games remind me of the players that believe they can win on any ordinary slot machine by smacking the play button.
Our legislators took a bold and bipartisan step to protect Kentucky children and families when they outlawed gray machines,
But Attorney General Russell Coleman apparently is not concerned with protecting Kentucky families from buying $50 scratch offs or visiting one or

$1.35 billion Mega Millions lottery winner suing mother of his child for revealing win to family
From what I remembered of it this is a very small town of 6,000 people. How many unmarried females have a daughter that becomes on age on June 1, 2032 .
A lot of people are making assumptions with nothing to support them, and that's at least two of them. We know where the ticket was purchased, but none of us has a clue where any of the people live(d) or her current marital status. Since we haven't seen the NDA we also have no idea if it actually says she comes of age on any particular da

$1.35 billion Mega Millions lottery winner suing mother of his child for revealing win to family
Somebody watched too much Law and Order and thinks people will believe they are a Jack McCoy.
In real life John Doe not only has to prove Sara signed the NDA but prove she told his father and step-mother. Like I said before, Maine is a state with broad rights to access public records and the NDA will be part of the public record if and when it is entered into evidence.
Bet everyone will know his name if he doesn't withdraws the lawsuit.

$1.35 billion Mega Millions lottery winner suing mother of his child for revealing win to family
Anonymity might not last for billion-dollar jackpot winner
By Kate Northrop
The winner of the $1.35 billion Mega Millions jackpot is suing the mother of his child for allegedly telling his family about the lottery win.
An anonymous Maine man who won the $1.35 billion Mega Millions jackpot is accusing the mother of his child of blabbing about his win and is taking legal action in retaliation.
In February, one lucky winner stepped forward to claim the then-fourth-largest lottery ja

A verbal Lottery joke agreement wouldn't hold up in Court, would it?
If it gets to court its not a joke. Think about that. Nobody is going to file a lawsuit and go to court claiming it was all a joke.
You can claim it was a joke all you want, but what did the other party think?
If you find yourself in court he/she is not going to tell the judge, yeah, we were just joking.
