Could all lottery drawings be fixed?
Here's the directory for members of the Georgia Bar: https://gabar.reliaguide.com/home You're probably looking for someone who does consumer law, since ultimately lottery players are consumers of state-sponsored gambling products. Although, the severe injury to your psyche caused by lotto addiction may fall under personal injury. Please keep us updated when you finally file your lawsuit.

The $29.95 Non-Believerz
Not winning the lottery ought to be cause to sue Satan (and his minions)...... Gerald Mayo, a 22-year-old inmate at Western Penitentiary in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,[3] filed a claim before the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania in which he alleged that Satan has on numerous occasions caused plaintiff misery and unwarranted threats, against the will of plaintiff, that Satan has placed deliberate obstacles in his path and has caused plaintiff's downfall an

WHO is going to show you how to win w/ positive R.O.I. Long term
Casinos don't back room people any more. They got sued and now the player will make more money in a lawsuit than they could possibly win counting cards. Casinos don't use a slight of hand manipulator on a card counter. They can simply bar the player, or more commonly, simply re-shuffle the deck. If you're counting cards and every time the count turns positive and you increase your bet, and then the dealer re-shuffles before you have a chance to play a hand with a big bet, the count gets destr

Lead balloon or good idea?
The problem with charging for anonymity versus free is the lottery would be responsible for keeping the player's information secret. At the same time in some states the lottery is already responsible for notifying courts and other agencies if state taxes and child support, etc. is due and of course they tell the IRS. One lawsuit for failing to keep a player successfully anonymous would wipe out the profits. Besides, even if the player paid, the spouse or kids would likely blab the secret, but do

How do you remain anonymous if you win as an online player
I assume the same state lottery law should apply as if you purchased it in person. If your state permits claiming via a trust, then the state lottery law should apply and allow you to claim via a trust. You should not have to waive that right because of an online purchase...unless it is clearly stated on the lottery website. Sounds like a future lottery lawsuit if the lottery tries to deviate from the state lottery rules!

digital drawings
One's thing is for sure the rich are about to get richer! Players should have the option of playing a digital draw by purchasing a ticket drawn that way, or a ticket drawn electro-mechanically (rolling of the balls). Perhaps players can get together to file a class-action lawsuit and introduce a referendum in State capitols to let the players (the people) decide. If any fraud that's the job of the MUSL and State's attorney general to investigate. Also, with this new digital draw coming our way p

The ugly side of the win. How would you deal with close family and friends who...?
I have a distant cousin who came into a $300k windfall (from an accident lawsuit) when she was 17. Her mother, who everyone thought was the sweetest and most kindest person you'd ever meet, completely guilted my cousin into blowing it all. Her mother RENTED a home for $2500 per month (this was in the early 90's), bought a brand new Nissan maxima, furnished that house with furniture rented from Rent a Center, bought herself a new wardrobe and jewelery, and lavished her no good boyfriend (whom my

In Group Winners: can the payout other than split evenly ?
Even in the state lotteries that divide the prize equally for a pool, they won't subdivide shares. The taxes on any other money distribution is determined by the IRS rules. The amount paid in and the prize distributions was equal; everybody contributed the same. From what I read so far, if this pool wins a jackpot, we'll be reading about the lawsuit on LP news.
