I don't think CA will be shut out of MM by a lawsuit.

What will the current Mega run go up to?
The California Coalition Against Gambling Expansion will file a lawsuit in Sacramento Superior Court within two weeks seeking an injunction to shut down the state's Mega Millions multistate lotto as unconstitutional, it said Thursday. If successful in the lawsuit, it could cost the California Lottery plenty. Possible lawsuits by the other 11 states in the game, lost startup costs, a dent in the lottery's sales-fostering integrity and other fallout could total tens of millions of dollars.I would

Mega Millions Sets A New Record
It seems like Mega Millions jackpots were like $100 million all the time ever since California joined. Do you think that the lawsuit that was held against the CA state government will stop California's membership or can California still continue Mega Millions regardless of the lawsuit? But Powerball may also have huge rollovers with the new 5/55 + 1/42 matrix. Only time will tell.

Delawarean Looses Powerball Lawsuit
It seems strange that the lottery commision would not come out and call him a liar,,,as they so often do when they get a false claim......his claim must have some merit.....although the no ticket, no cash rule seems to hold up in court, this may set some precedent in future court rulings.......

DOVER, Del. (AP)- Bob Palese believes he had the winning $5 million lottery ticket, but he says it was destroyed in the laundry.
Now, he is suing the Del

The story of a 49-year-old Bear man who filed a lawsuit claiming he was entitled to a $5 million lottery prize even though he lost the winning ticket in a laundry mishap didn t wash with the state Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court instead affirmed a lower court

170 million for Friday
I want to see CA win a MM jackpot over $195+ million before winning a CA lawsuit that shuts their sales in MM down for good.

mega millions poll
My prediction is more toward 400 million. I hope that CA wins the MM jackpot before the lawsuit shuts CA down for good.

MM Megaplier
In fact, the lawsuit allows CA to stay with MM CASH Only. However, I hope the MM megaplier only applies to all of the fixed states. Is Florida going to join MM or PB? If Florida joins MM, I hope they get fixed amounts as well. Are you sure Florida payouts are pari-mutuel?

Probability of a MegaMillions rollover.
Prob988, as long as more MM jackpot winners happen in 2006, their sales will fall. I hope the lawsuit allows CA to continue playing MM or sales will suffer big time.
