Post your scratch ticket results
This is why I hate the new PA system. I played a bunch of Cherry Slots since they came out, and I always save the losers. Well I grabbed a handfull from my car to check them in a machine. Turns out I had a bill symbol for $40 in my trash pile. The bill looks too much like the HOT and BAR symbol and totally missed it.. I will never throw away any new ticket without processing it in the machine first.. I agree with the one guy in the other post. We need a smartphone app to scan our tickets. Guess

Casinos
In the old days when slots had mechanical wheels with gears, there was such a thing as timing a machine. This was done by partially pulling the handle so the symbols in the first two windows became visible (stopped) and then knowing when to finish pulling the handle to line up the third symbol if the first two matched. I worked with a guy who showed us this- we were going on break and the casino had put in an old nickel (5 cents) machine. This was in a casino you vcould play lsots in on

slot machines...need advice
I love to play slots, they are my favorite, I won 20,000.00 on a machine at metropolis, It was a 10.00 machine and I was only playing one credit, the second pull got me the jackpot, one thing I have noticed on my way to many to mention trips to the casino is if you sit at a slot and it doesn't pay even a little something after 10 pulls leave it and move on, the more money you invest you think you have to win, that it will have to pay off soon, this I have found to be not true at all, my best w

slot machines...need advice
At my local casino there are over two thousand slot machines so you can imagine your choices. I know that when you go up in denomination the less the casino's edge is over the long haul. I like to play machines that I can max bet on to get the most out of the machine you are playing. But it all depends on how you like to gamble if you do not want to max bet then the first rule would be to play all the lines including the bonus lines but pick a credit limit you are comfortable at playing for h

Recent MM and PB jackpots a fluke?
You're probably right, I just threw out a number; to make a point. I watched the Travel Channel, and on one of their shows they talked about the payouts, and they varied so much I lost track. My last trip to Vegas I put $20.00 in the machine for one multi-million dollar roll; didn't care what the odds were. Lost, walked away and never went back. Prior to that I hadn't played the slots since, around, 1968. Hadn't been to Vegas prior to this year, since Elvis was a headliner. No a big gambler; alt

When to Play the Lottery
Hi,Do you play the lottery everyday or occasionly? Do you win or lose? Did you ever consider why?I play the lottery from time to time, however, I make it a point to play when every little thing is going right. For example, I hit nothing but green lights when driving, their is a open parking space in a hard to park area, there is no line at the ATM machine, this means my timing is on and this is the time I play. This is when I win.More so, I don't play when the opposite happens, I hit all red l

Breaking Vegas!!
Quote: Originally posted by dynodyno on May 17, 2004Hi Keystonechas, you said you are doing well at slots, what is your strategy! Two basic tips, always put the maximum coins in the machine. I don't know how many times I've seen someone hit a jackpot after placing only one coin in the machine and exclaim.... gee I wish I played the max. If you can't afford say three one dollar coins in a dollar machine, downsize to a cheaper machine, but always play the max.The second tip is very simple and basic
