The Ohio Lottery allows sports betting and I wonder how much money they take in/pay out during the playoffs and championship games. I don't know if I would ever wager on a sports game. Although I sometimes detect patterns in the outcomes of games (for example, UCLA has never lost to USC in football in the Year of the Dog, and unranked Georgia has beaten ranked Auburn in football in the last four years ending in 6), I believe my bet would take away from my ability to enjoy the game.
