A recent winner paid $50 for the best odds to hit a million dollars. But he decided on a lump sum of $820,000 (minus taxes) so he won't even clear a million dollars. 500x the cash secondary prize should be higher to the tune of 5 mil. There should also be 50 100k tier prizes available too. Let's be honest you're playing to hit the million dollar prize.

PA's $50 ticket coming 12/27-12/28
Well now 4 for 6 as tonight's $50 ticket hit $75 making me dead even. 6 tickets, $300 won.. This now marks the first time (in I am not sure how long) that I didn't have a claim ticket to claim on next years taxes.. Either my luck is that bad or the PA loterry isn't the same as it was 5 years ago..

Hi Skeptic, as far as I can tell there's quite a bit of legal mambo-jumbo....I'm more of a numbers person so unfortunately fade somewhat with the legalese.
I do see the following:
(12) Taxes.
(a) Except as specifically described herein, all federal, state and/or local taxes or other fees on any prize or prize element shall be the sole responsibility of the prizewinner, regardless of whether a prizewinner avails himself/herself of the prize.
...seems like prize-wise they are ho

I have been winning very big on scratchers for a year. I have a question
Yeah I don't know what I'm going to do. Right now it's in my bank account. I'm fine with it just sitting there for now, not sure how much taxes I will owe. Won another $330 profit this morning so there are still new packs here and there but for the most part it's done. I have been told this game won't be back at least not in it's current form.

Discarded Lottery Tickets - 1st Full Year of Checking Completed
I check at multiple convenience stores when running my daily errands. Store employees do not save them for me. Instead I make arrangements to take their discards from the discard bin, if any are present, with some explanation like I play the second chance lottery or I need them for my taxes . Both statements are accurate but I try to downplay the prospect of finding discarded winning tickets.

They will take it if you owe back taxes or child support or any federally owed debt. Trust me, I've seen a dude lose his s*it in the office when he didn't get a check for his claimer because of debt.

I had student loan debt when I won $5000 on a $5 scratch off. Then didn't take anything from it. I think they only atomically take money if you owe child support or back taxes.

When you see a retailer winning it's usually a customer asking them to claim the win. Retailer takes a cut 50% etc. The do this because they probably owe back taxes or child support. I see this in PA a lot. You would think the state would catch on.
