Kentucky Lottery launches online ticket sales
Without any fanfare, the Kentucky Lottery Monday began selling tickets online to try and attract more young adults.
The initial offerings are limited to several lottery games, including Powerball, Mega Millions, Kentucky Cash Ball, and five instant games.
Kentucky is the fourth state to sell lottery tickets on the Internet, joining Georgia, Illinois, and Michigan. Minnesota tried it for a while before the state's legislature decided to ban the practice.

NH Lottery may increase storeowners' lottery bonus
If someone walks into a New Hampshire corner store and walks away with a $160 million lottery ticket, the store owner's takeaway is capped at $30,000, the lowest such retail lottery cap in the United States.
The NH Lottery Commission would like to increase that possible retail jackpot to $75,000, a 150 percent raise, although it would still lag behind Massachusetts's $100,000.

More arrests may be coming as probe expands
Six people have been charged so far in connection with a scheme to manipulate Connecticut Lottery terminals to produce more instant winning tickets in the 5 Card Cash game, authorities said Tuesday.

No $50K bonus for Washington retailer who sold winning lottery ticket
If you're Nirbhai Singh, 36, who started out delivering for Pizza Hut and now owns a couple of 7-Elevens, what else can you do but be philosophical about losing out on $50,000?

People can now use debit and credit cards to purchase Pennsylvania lottery tickets at nine Smoker's Express stores in the Harrisburg area as part of a new payment trial.

Suspended CT lottery game had too many winners
The Connecticut Lottery and state Department of Consumer Protection shut down the 5 Card Cash game after noticing there were more winners than the game's parameters should have allowed, and determining that some lottery agents were manipulating machines to print more winning tickets and fewer losers.
