Delaware Lottery publishes winner pictures -- sort of
The Delaware Lottery takes pride in their privacy policy, only publishing winner names with their consent. To make the point, while still showing a real winner behind the story, the lottery takes the winners' pictures, but has each winner hold up a mask over their face. With a busy month of August, including sixteen people winning prizes of $10,000 or more, the Delaware Lottery has a lot of anonymous pictures to take. The result is a collage that could make even the stodgiest of us chuckle

Widow recounts slaying of CT Lottery chief in new book
Delaware native Denise Brown has always enjoyed writing, but becoming a published author has been a bittersweet journey for the 47-year-old. Although she's glad that her memoir, The Unspeakable, is available to readers, she would've preferred that there had never been a need to write it. That's because her memoir, released last month by the University of Delaware Press, is about the minutes, hours, days and years following the violent death of her husband, Otho R. Ott Brown in 1998.

Most state lottery raffle games sold out
Around the United States, Christmastime raffle games have become the hottest ticket of the year, with most of the game tickets selling out well before the drawing date. The raffle games are loosely modeled after the largest lottery game in the world, Spain's El Gordo, which gives back an unusually large 70% of all proceeds in the form of prizes, and makes many instant millionaires. Unlike traditional lotto-style games, a fixed number of tickets are sold for raffle games, and the prizes are

Last month, Chancery Court Vice Chancellor John W. Noble said Palese didn't have a claim because he no longer had the wining ticket. He was disappointed at the decision, said Palese's attorney, Patrick J
