After a technical difficulty occurred during the evening Daily 3 drawing on Saturday, Jan. 30, the Hoosier Lottery held a secondary drawing.
In the meantime, the Lottery urged players to hold onto their tickets in the event that their numbers yield a prize with the new numbers drawn.

Hoosier Lottery Executive Director Sarah Taylor elected MUSL President

Sarah Monnett Taylor will take on a new responsibility as the Board President of the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) for the 2021 fiscal year while continuing to fulfill her role as the Executive Director of the Hoosier Lottery.
It is the first time anyone from the Indiana Hoosier Lottery serves in the role and marks the appointment of the 31st MUSL Board President.

Hoosier Lottery celebrates 30 years in operation
State lottery honors retired community heroes who volunteer amidst the COVID-19 crisis

This year, the Hoosier Lottery continues its celebration of the 30th anniversary since its first ticket went on sale October 13, 1989.
The celebration will conclude at the Indiana State Fair this August, assuming there are no scheduling changes due to COVID-19.

Hoosier Lottery operator facing $3.6M fine for not meeting sales goal

IGT Indiana, the private operator of the Hoosier Lottery, may be required to pay a $3.6 million fine to the state should it not meet its $300 million sales goal a number that seems unobtainable at this point.
The lottery is projected to generate about $295 million to be sent to state coffers, which would include the $3.6 million penalty should they not meet the threshold.

$1.5M Hoosier Lotto ticket to expire Thursday

Indiana lottery players check your tickets: a lottery ticket worth more than a million bucks is about to expire.
The winner bought the Hoosier Lotto ticket last October at the Circle K located at 139 W. Lagrange Road in Hanover, Indiana.

Hoosier Lottery often pulls plug on high-dollar scratch-off games before all prizes can be won
Brittany Mowell and her husband purchase Hoosier Lottery scratch-off tickets a couple of times a week in hopes they'll win big.
The Indianapolis woman said she felt cheated out of that dream once she learned the lottery was pulling certain high-dollar scratch-off games off the market before all the big-money prizes could be won and paid out.
