Store wins lottery prize on mistake ticket
Will 'give away' prize
Tesco Ireland, the Irish arm of supermarket group Tesco, is to give away a 500,000 (US$713,000) Euro Millions prize it won by accident on April Fool's Day.
The retail giant is understood to have won the huge prize inadvertently last week. A customer had asked for a 4 quick-pick ticket but was issued with a 9 ticket by mistake.
The customer was then issued a new ticket, while the 9 ticket was locked inside the cashier's register.

The estranged husband of the Irishwoman who won a $21.5 million New York Lottery jackpot is set to sue her for his share of the winnings.

Ireland Lottery draws two €1 million raffle winners

The Ireland Lottery conducted its annual Christmas raffle drawing Friday, awarding two grand prizes of 1 million (US$1.3 million) and many smaller cash prizes.
A complete list of winning numbers for the drawing can be found at Lottery Post's Ireland Lottery Results page.
Christmas Raffle tickets went on sale Oct. 18. Only 450,000 of the 20 tickets were made available for sale.

Irish Lottery jackpot up to €15m for tonight's draw
Cash-strapped workers tired of the economic doom and gloom will be rushing to pick up their Ireland Lotto ticket today with tonight's jackpot approaching a cool 15 million (US$20 million).
