$768.4 million Powerball lottery jackpot won by single ticket sold in Wisconsin

One Powerball lottery ticket sold in Wisconsin won the third-largest lottery prize in U.S. history on Wednesday night.
The lucky numbers for the $768.4 million jackpot were 16, 20, 37, 44, and 62, with Powerball number 12. The Power Play multiplier was 3. The top prize surged from an estimated $750 million due to strong ticket sales.

Kansas man claims $50M Mega Millions jackpot on ticket he purchased in Missouri

A Kansas man who stopped to get gas and a Mega Millions lottery ticket in Kansas City, Missouri is now $50 million richer.
According to a news release from the Missouri Lottery, Hira Singh of Shawnee, Kansas, claimed the jackpot in Jefferson City this week.
The Quick Pick ticket Singh bought at the QuikTrip at 6641 E. Truman Road in Kansas City matched all six Mega Millions numbers drawn on March 12. Those numbers were 10, 12, 16, 49, and 57 with Mega Ball number 18.

Winner of $1.5B lottery jackpot donates some winnings to Alabama tornado victims

The winner of the largest Mega Millions jackpot in US history $1.5 billion is sharing some of her newfound wealth to help others in need.
The lucky South Carolina woman, who has chosen to remain anonymous, is donating to the Alabama Red Cross to aid tornado relief and several South Carolina charities.

$273M Mega Millions jackpot winner from NJ says he initially forgot the lottery ticket at the store
A New Jersey man who claimed a $273 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot this week left the winning ticket at the store.
While messing with his phone, Mike Weirsky misplaced $273 million last Thursday.
