NJ Mega Millions lottery ticket due to expire Oct. 5
New Jersey lottery players, check your wallet, clean out the drawers, dig into your pants' pockets because someone has a New Jersey Lottery Mega Millions ticket worth $250,000 that will expire on October 5, 2013 if it is not validated.
The Mega Millions ticket is a second tier winner from the October 5, 2012 drawing. The ticket was purchased at Wegman s, 55 Route 9 South, Manalapan in Monmouth County.

Inquiry in Iowa Lottery mystery touches Canada
Investigators seeking to unravel an attempted multimillion-dollar Iowa Lottery jackpot scheme have been in contact with Canadian authorities and are looking into people who may have been involved, an agent said Thursday.
Special Agent in Charge Patrick Townsend of the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation confirmed his agency sought assistance from Canadian law enforcement early in the 18-month investigation into a withdrawn claim for a $14.3 million Hot Lotto jackpot.

$1M NJ Powerball ticket to expire May 17
You may be a millionaire and not even know it.
Worse yet, you only have until May 17 to figure it out or lose the prize, according to New Jersey Lottery officials.
In a press release Wednesday, lottery officials said a winning $1 million ticket sold in South Brunswick Township, New Jersey, from the May 16, 2012 Powerball drawing has not yet been claimed.
