Iowa Lottery gives raffle game another try
The Iowa Lottery is giving a raffle game another try and hoping for more luck with the weather.
Lottery vice president, Mary Neubauer says the first raffle game launched in the spring of 2008 timing that turned out not to be so lucky.
Neubauer says the raffle sales started just at the time when the tornadoes and flooding hit the state and that had a big impact on the raffle says. The new raffle is called Pot O' Gold Raffle and the winner will be drawn on St. Patrick's Day.

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery is adding even more value to instant lottery tickets with a new program called Points for Prizes.

Missouri Lottery names new director
The Missouri Lottery Commission named May Scheve Reardon of St. Louis as the executive director of the Missouri Lottery during a commission meeting held today in Jefferson City. Her appointment takes effect immediately.
Reardon will be the Lottery's fifth executive director since Lottery sales began in January 1986.

Kentucky Lottery approves adding Mega Millions
The Kentucky Lottery Corporation's board of directors has approved a cross-selling agreement allowing sales of the Mega Millions multi-state jackpot game in the Commonwealth.
Tentatively set to go on sale in Kentucky at the end of January 2010, lottery players will have both Mega Millions and Powerball available as multi-state multi-million dollar games.

Texas Lottery unveils scratch-off ticket that benefits veterans
The Texas Lottery Commission on Nov. 9 just ahead of Veterans Day will start selling the first scratch-off ticket dedicated to a cause other than public education, where game profits now go.

The New Mexico Lottery is changing the in-state Roadrunner Cash game to create a larger starting prize and jackpots that grow larger, faster.

Kentucky Lottery draws airing on new TV stations
The TV stations which air the nightly Kentucky Lottery drawing program in the state's three largest media markets has changed, effective today.
In Louisville, the drawing program will move to WBKI/The CW Louisville. Lexington viewers will now be able to watch the drawings on the CWKYT. Players in Northern Kentucky will see the drawing show on WKRP-TV.
