Three lucky New Yorkers came forward to receive their winnings Wednesday as they became the state's newest lottery millionaires.
The New York Lottery distributed $26.6 million in prize checks at its customer service center in Manhattan.
The biggest prize went to 42-year-old Kimberly To-Mejia of Staten Island, who was the sole winner of the $11.6 million jackpot from the September 22 Lotto drawing.

Two winning tickets sold in Iowa and New York will split the third-largest Powerball jackpot in the game's history.
The winning numbers for the $687.8 million prize were 8, 12, 13, 19, and 27, with Powerball number 4. The Power Play was 3.

A Staten Island, New York, man came forward Thursday to officially claim a $245.6 million Powerball jackpot.
Nandlall Mangal, 42, was the sole winner of the August 11 drawing.

A 66-year-old man who's played the lottery his entire adult life is the newest lottery millionaire in New York.
Michael Marks has been playing the lottery in the same store every day since the 1960s.

A single ticket sold in New York state won Saturday's Powerball jackpot worth $245.6 million, lottery officials announced early Sunday.
The winning ticket was sold at the Stop Shop, 2754 Hylan Boulevard, on Staten Island, according to the New York State Lottery's Web site. There was no immediate word on who holds the winning ticket.

Earlier this month, Donald Savastano won a $1 million New York Lottery scratch-off game and he was making plans.
