New Penn. Lottery 5-digit game on sale Aug. 26
The Pennsylvania Lottery's latest game is the 5-digit numbers game, Quinto, offering 13 ways to play and win up to $50,000 cash.
Drawings will be held both at midday and evening, seven days a week.
Tickets for Quinto will cost $1 each. The new game is played similar to Pick 3 and Pick 4 games, except with Quinto there are 5 positions for the numbers 0 through 9.
For a $1 purchase, players can wager Straight, Front 4, Back 4, Front 3, Back 3, Front Pair, Back Pair or Box, as follows:

Lawsuit claims NY state is ripping off lottery customers
A lawsuit claims the New York State Division of Lottery is tricking people into playing its Take Five lottery game by exaggerating the likelihood of winning.
The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan on Monday, said people were cheated of more than $5 million. It seeks unspecified damages and an order putting a stop to what it portrayed as a rip-off.
The plaintiff in the lawsuit was identified as M. McKee, a resident of Richmond County.

N.C. man wins $200,000 on his first-ever lottery ticket
Talk about luck.
Herbert Marsh of High Point, North Carolina, won $200,000 the first time he played the lottery.
Going on a feeling something good would happen, Marsh bought a Powerball ticket for the Wednesday drawing that matched all five numbers.
Marsh told the North Carolina Education Lottery he plans to buy a new car with some of the money and put the rest in savings.

Seven tickets to split record Jersey Cash 5 lottery jackpot
New Jersey Lottery officials say there are seven winning tickets sold for the record Jersey Cash 5 jackpot worth nearly $2 million.
Two of the tickets were sold in Atlantic County. The others were purchased in Cumberland, Essex, Gloucester, Monmouth and Union counties.
The numbers in Tuesday night's drawing were 4, 5, 17, 18 and 21. The total jackpot was $1,964,438.

Glitch Delays Jersey Cash 5 Lottery Drawing
A mechanical glitch forced New Jersey Lottery officials to manually draw the winning numbers for the Jersey Cash 5 game on Friday night.
