Over the past 20 years Mark Gardiner has accumulated pretty much all the paraphernalia one might associate with a lottery winner.
There's the sprawling listed mansion with manicured grounds and kidney-shaped swimming pool, the gleaming Aston Martin in the garage, and the exotic holidays when he fancies them.
As he puts it: People write a list of what they'd do when they win the lottery, don't they? New house, flash car, lovely holidays, private jets. Well, I've ticked them all off.

Threat to boycott the UK National Lottery as tickets double to £2
UK National Lottery bosses came under fire last night as Britons voiced their outrage at today's price rise.

The 81,381,673.30 payout (US$123.7 million), which saw the lucky ticket-holder shoot to sixth on the UK National Lottery Rich List, had gone unclaimed since Tuesday night.

UK shopkeeper guilty of lottery fraud
A shopkeeper from Gravesend, a town in northwest Kent, England, has been found guilty of trying to con a lottery syndicate [pool] out of nearly 80,000 (US$120,000) in winnings.
