in theory, one can live off of winning the pick 3. they would just have to hit it at least twice a week at $1 straight to be able to live off of it.

I've redone my website. Go to www.dr-ew.com. I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff. Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

I recently hit the 686 for $80 playing only the evening draw. It was real nice. Then, after that win, I didn't win for 13 evening draws spending at least $5 a draw. The I hit $40 after that 13-draw cold streak. It's up and down, ahead and break even. You could say that was a break even dvent stretched out over two weeks. The point is that I was using winnings to play and not new money out of my pocket. However, that initial $80 win probably was money out of my pocket that I just then got back. This would make an accountant crazy! LOL. Play smart, and you don't have to play everyday. If you figure numbers everyday, then it's tough not to play. The winner can come and you don't play it - almost as bad as losing.
I knew a guy who fancied himself a "gambler". I said, "That's fine, but do you consider yourself a "winner?? Heck, anybody can be a gambler. So, just beware the big talk - make'em show you the money. Yeah, he showed me the money and bought me dinner. He won $1250 on the Pick 3 - after he'd lost about $2600 over 5 weeks before that!! It's a tightrope that nobody can walk all the way to retirement. Play the Cash 5 or Lotto for the big dough, then you can afford to get another hobby. That's my plan anyway.

The only way to make a living off this pick 3 in Michigan is to work for the Lottery, So you know when they cheat. and what numbers are going to fall. The whole red ball is a farse.

Okay, one more try. Using the theory that you start with a certain number of picks for a certain cost, then add that cost to each succeeding drawing until you win. As you can see in the attached example, there is sort of a bell curve of profit until you come back down to break even; break even at 59 draws for 5 picks per draw or 29 drawings for 10 picks per drawing for example. I have this spreadsheet, if anyone wants it message me. You can input # of picks, cost each, any/exact (picks*cost*6). It's not made, at least not yet, to include doubles.

Heck...all this talk about living off Cash 3...I would be happy if I could just hit once in a while. Coworker uses my sheet and hits several times a week. I use my sheet and all I end up with is emptier pockets. Go figure...like yesterday...my cash 4 sheet had last nite's draw 7 times on it...and I was too darn sick to go buy a number. Think I will stick to my day job...at least it comes with benefits of a consistent paycheck.

Learn your numbers and choose carefully and a hit may come your way once in awhile or you could go on a loosing streak. I got lucky this week.

I found a 5 dollar bill on the street today while parking my vehichle today at work and I thought to myself that this might be my lucky day.
Will need to see how my powerball pick turns out tonight. I played a second line to go with what I posted last night on the forum.
