Mooshie has a very valid point.
But to answer the question posed at the beginning of this thread...what would you (I) do with 365 million? One word:
Disappear!
At least from public view and at least for a while. And what would I do while I was disappearing? I don't know...maybe count my money. Three hundred, sixty four million, two hundred, ninety five thousand, six hundred and forty two dollars...three hundred sixty four million, two hundred ninety five thousand, six hundred and forty three dollars...three hundred sixty four million, two hundred niney five thousand, six hundred and forty...DAMN! An interest payment! Now I have to start all over. One dollar...two dollars...three dollars....
Jim
No need to disappear. You can hide out with a dollar to your name. Fly to Hawaii, I can bet no one would know you from the guy in the next room. Stay at the Waldorf in NYC, they keep the public away from people all the time. Go to Hong Kong. Do you think anyone would know who you are?

I would run and hide. Its the only way to protect yourself and your assets from the jealous people around you. Because in most cases at the end you'll end up being their worst enemy anyway. For the reasons unknown their thinking goes like this " you win, you must share".
There are a lot of jealous people out there.. It does amaze me.. To hear all the customers complain because that person won in Nebraska.. I know they would be complaining if it it was hit else where.. what they were complaining about was they didn't win..
I would keep quiet. People could not be happy for me .. So why tell?

Chewie, I have no problem with the concept that materialistic, gold-digging women "get what they deserve" if they'll jump in the hay in an effort to con you out of something. just because she/he thinks she/he can get something out of you. But let's be honest here: In your scenario, it's the MAN who is doing the conning; the woman is just falling for it (and she may not be falling for the whole "I'm rich" impression, but for the idea that she actually, finally, found a truly nice wonderful gentleman who's actually interested in her.) Also, in your post you ASSUMED she would do that: "throw her some flowers and act like a gentleman, and she'll be putty in your hands." So does that mean you assume that all women are money hungry, and that all women have no self-respect? Even if that were true, which it certainly isn't, do you believe that it's OK to trample all over people if they don't stick up for themselves? Like, if somebody doesn't FORCE you to be a decent human being, that entitles you act like some kind of sociopath? (Not YOU you. I'm just posing a hypothetical.) The point I was trying to make is that, if sex is all you're after, why not just be honest about it and pay the money for a professional. Why choose to con some woman who is gullible enough to believe that you're actually the nice guy you pretend to be, and that you're actually interested in her? I'd say that men who choose to do that are NOT really in it for the sex, actually. I'd say they do it because of some deep-seated fear or hatred of women, as well as a need to feel superior to them and to punish them for whatever imaginary wrongs the entire female race has foisted upon the man (or men in general).
I'm not sure what fear or hatred of either sex has to do with anything. It is sex, nothing more, nothing less. Not every thing has to have a second or third motive. Because you enjoy sex, and your pardner enjoys sex, doesn't make either of you a psycopath or require psycoanalsis. Two consenting adults enjoying each others body. Happens a billion times a day, the world over. I can sleep with a woman, respect her, and never see her again. She probably had the same thought. Not everything is about her, some times it is about me, and some times it is about both of us. Spend some time in a tourist city, like Honolulu or Las Vegas. People go there and do what they would never do in their home town. Self-respect has nothing to do with it. They are adults, acting like adults. People can enjoy each others bodies without a lifelong commitment, or even a 24-hour commitment. No deep routed fear or desire to screw my mother! I didn't respresent her father either. Two people, the chemicals flowing, and doing what comes naturally to two healthy people. No woman ever committed suicide because I wasn't the knight in shining armor! Some times, I was the one being had. Stranglely enough, I was able to accept it!
If any one has a problem, it appears to be you. You want to judge every one by your standards; based on something you've read sitting alone in your bed. You want the flowers and sweet talk - and a lifelong commitment. Not getting is bad, and causes you to suspect the worst in people. If some one wants to screw you, it is considered trampling, not enjoyable. If some one doesn't play by your repressed standards, they are not a decent human being. Unless it is a lifelong commitment, a whore is better. Bulldung! This is the 21 Century! Sex in the dark is no longer the only way it can happen, and it doesn't have to intolerable. It was made to be good, not just for reproduction. Turn the lights on, and find the good spots. Not every sexual encounter has to be "making love", just plain getting laid is a goal - for men and women! Most of the women I date are smarter then a bean-bag, and none are afraid of life. Try it some time.
make sure the screwing you get is worth the screwing you might get.

The first thing I'd do is go heavily into debt. Temporarily, but heavily. Before I even claimed that ticket, I'd sign it, stash it somewhere safe, then borrow about $2m from one of my two rich trustworthy friends. Then I'd use that money to buy a house far, far, far away, and I'd move myself, my mother, her three dogs, my three cats, and our six goats out of our current place under cover of night. Only then would I claim the ticket. We live in a bad place, y'all. No way am I claiming that ticket while we're still here.
if you lived in a bad place you can still sign the ticket.that way even if someone attempted to steal it and cash it in they would still need identification.....
