  Yeah, exactly.  I voted yes, stop.  Your posts hints of a strong possibility of addiction and depression.  Coin Toss has a good idea.  I would add to that, take the money you have in the box and treat your self to something nice,  dinner, an addition to your wardrobe, a trip to see someone you haven't seen in ahwhile, something that will bring good feelings...

  All said, the ultimate decision is yours.  If you are serious, you might want to consider  the advice of a professional that you talk to face-to-face.  They can see ohter things that you communicate to them and help you come to the decision that is best for you.

  My vote is keep playing, but don't play too much. I would play MM if the jackpot was 300 million or more.

  You won't win if you don't play.

   

  $80 is not that much money for a teenager.  But, if, $80 is MORE than you can afford to play, meaning, everytime you loose that $80, it hurts, then stop playing.

   

  But, if you really, really, feel your big win is coming, keep playing....if you just HAVE to play....try using some strategies....play better lotteries, like, pick 3 and pick 4.

   

  I don't think depression is the problem here, it could just be an addiction.  At 18 it might not have been on YOUR mind to play the lottery....especially if you lived a good life....and didn't have to take care of yourself at 18....all you needed to worry about was porno and video games.

   

  Unfortunately, not all minorities, and those living in poverty had it so easy.  When I was around that age, all I wanted to do was sit around playing video games, reading porn, and hanging out with my friends at.......but, I had to work, go to school, take care a 2 year old son (paying child support), pay bills, and feed myself.  Maybe soriano's situation is a little similar, and thinks he could ease all the pain by playing the lottery and hitting it big......not an addiction.....just an idea/wish/hope.

   

  If I were you soriano, I would seriously take up a different type of gambling.  The lottery is hard!

  NY Lotto 6/59 is the biggest lottery ripoff in North America. Even with the cash option, it's not worth playing.

  Many people have won with ONE ticket, because that is all it takes. However that does not neccesarily mean they only bought ONE ticket.
