Someone just left my company (Speednet) a voice mail saying they were declining the charge on their credit card.
Don't do that.
I guess you didn't notice the many reminders that SPEEDNET is what is listed on your credit card when you buy a premium membership.
If I get a declined charge, I suspend the person's membership, so you need to reverse course, tell me who you are, and if you called your bank to reverse the charge, hop right back on the phone with them and tell them not to.

Well, it wasn't Old Turkey, and with 43,539 members, that reduced the possibilities to 43,538.
It wasn't me, so to hear some here tell it, THAT reduces the possibilities to
21,769.
(43, 538 divided by 2)

There are only a few dozen possibilities, not 43,000.

Speednet cannot identify a voice in which someone states "I have a charge on my credit card from Speednet. I guess I will dispute it."
How would you propose that I identify who left the message, other than doing what I am doing?

Sorry can't help you with speednet. I use paypal to collect payments. All I can tell you is that it would have to be one of the people who recently bought a premium account. Seeing that you have their mail address from the purchase why not write each person who has and ask if it was them because maybe they wont see this post?

Anyone that's self-employed here knows the issue. You give a good service and honest price and you're expecting the same respect in return. When you're ripped off in a transaction like this, it's not the money that's as important as the issue of trust that you placed in the person you conducted business with. We all want to trust everyone because most people are good by nature. When someone rips you off it hurts more in the mind than the wallet.

This type of behavior has residual effects on all of us in many ways.

trying to lighten the mood for ya.can't believe some people are so dishonest like that.the person should be ashamed.

I have already sent everyone with a credit card transaction since June 1st a PM.
Whoever who left me the message, I just want to be clear about this: I just want to make sure you're not going to reverse the charge on your credit card, because that affects me directly. That's all. I just need to know who did it for that reason. It was a man who called, not a woman. I'm not looking to get all upset or anything, I just don't want the chargeback. So relax, and please call your credit card if you issued a chargeback.
