I'm not seeing enough of the winning numbers among it's predicted numbers to be worth wheeling the numbers it picks. I think you would be better off taking a look at the Lotto Sorcerer demo using the 24 or 25 lines not the wheels, it seems the only way to have all the winning numbers among your lines is to put all the numbers into play. http://www.lotto-logix.com/lottosoft.html

Thanks. Looks like it got the same problem as Lotto Sorcerer then.
I actually own a licenced copy of Lotto Sorcerer 5.5. I have found you need to play wheels covering a lot of numbers to get a chance at winning some divisions.
My backtests with Lotto Sorcerer indicates it performs 100 percent better than chance with MEDIAN statistics chosen. So this is always the default choice in Preferences.
What I am trying out now is to play 50 Discrete Suggestions by asking for 2x25 Discrete Suggestions. Won two 5th divisions this week by doing this. Hopefully 4th divisions are not far behind.

millions,
i also have lotto sorcerer,i am not sure what to make of it though..i have had a few boxed hits with it and 1 straight....it doesn't seem to be able to adjust the outcome of the results it generates...the preference settings don't really seem to make a difference when you play around with them....have you had any success using these settings???

All I know about lotto sorcerer being used for Pick 3 is that it (according to other users on this board) is able to pick 2 out 3 numbers correct. Don't know how many combinations you must play to get that result.
Single stats = Chosing one statistical choice in preferences.
Double stats = Chosing two statistical choices in preferences.
Some explanation of the norwegian text: Enkel (En rekke) = One combination, Ti rekker = Ten combinations, Prosent = Percent, Gj.snitt(gjennomsnitt) = Average, Antall = Number of times with 3 out of 6 or better, Spilledato = the date when played.

Yes, I bought a licence too, seemed like the thing to do after my second 4# win in four draws playing the AU NSW game 24 well chosen lines, fifth draw after licence lost, watching the Monday draw. Be funny if the demo does better with 50 past draws then the licenced version does with 100, don't see a way to adjust that except by deleating draws older then that.
When you say to choose MEDIAN, the default is all preferences including MEDIAN, is your advice to leave things that way or to make MEDIAN the only Analysis preference?

When I say this is always my default choice in Analysis preferences, I mean I have made MEDIAN my default choice when making LS come up with combinations to play because my backtesting statistics shows it performs best.
I think it is necessary for Satori Publishing to improve LS's performance when using wheels, becuse now I think any wheels covering less than 18 or 19 numbers are useless.
Just did another check on the Viking Lotto results from wednesday, it was three 5th divisions I won not two as mentioned earlier in this thread.
I won a fifth division on the norwegian 7/34 lottery yesterday playing only 15 combinations given by LS.
Looks like this ridiculed software is able to surprise positively.

i think bobp might be on to something here with this software...it seems to me that it does better with less draws in its history than more...i think i might give this a try and delete say 50 of the draws in mine and see if it does any better...i don't like the fact that in the analysis the software keeps selecting all cold numbers(pick3) in all positions...i will let you guys know how it works out in a couple of days....

I think they need to put in an extra choice in LS's preferences where I can select how many draws the program will use as history. They should also include the possibilty of making the program perform automatic tests on different parameters to see which works best, using both Sort By statistics and how many draws back in history.

I'm still a little lost here.
Open LS, open first tool bar drop box, select Lotto Sorcerer Preferences.
Select Analysis there are 5 check boxes
[ ] Standard Deviation
[ ] Arithmetic Mean (average)
[ ] Median
[ ] Sum
[ ] Even/Odd Distribution
I take it you have the Median box checked, what about the other four? BobP
ONLY check MEDIAN.
Median works for me.
Perhaps you need to do tests to see if Median is the choice for the lottery you play. What had you checked in preferences when you won 4# on NSW lottery?

Default mode all five checked when I had 4 correct, 50 draws.
Lost the Monday draw, had a line with three correct, too bad the game doesn't have a 3# prize.
Tried running the Monday with Median only, nothing, repeat runs with all five again nothing. I think 3-32-36-37-40-42 (7 & 18) is not the type of draw LS is going to pick up. BobP
