   This was from last year..... has anyone kept up with the hit rate on these Never ever hit before numbers?  About once a month a shot of one of these comes by....  gets harder and slower as time goes by.

    A month or two back....  5 of these never ever hits actually hit for 5 straight days in a row!!  I still have not gotten over that.  No one on the math forum could calulate the odds of that occurance! So they really do hit in clumps sometimes....  Good Luck

  Interesting how sooooo many Straights can go untouched for soooo many years.

   They do seem to fall in clumps like Gilla says. The last one to hit before 747 was almost 40plus days ago ....which is a long time between skips on these.

   Midday now has 78 no hits left to go.  How often should they Hit ..you ask?  LOL

    Well ,,,of the 78 straights there are 56 singles..... and 22 doubles    

    The short answer to the question of how often?   is... 7.8% of the time. 

    What does that mean in "Dog years" LOL.....  about every 13 or 14 Midday draws. It gets further and further apart as time and numbers fall.  Thats why another could be close. Such a long skip on the last one.  

    Over the last 277 draws ...... 26 no hits fell midday.  Thats a hit every 10.65 days on this list ....or what use to be a list of 104 un touched straights at the beginning of this year. We have had draws on Mid since 1998 ..... and the thought we could have started this year of 2005 with 10% of the chart untouched is fascinating.

    See what's happening? .....further and futher apart.  Get em' while they're HOT .

  I don't really know Chou....  but until we see him again I like to think of him as finally hitting the "The Big One" with a ton of winnings on and island of the coast of Ga. fishing some where !

  Thanks Keith....  those numbers are kinda over whelming are they not..

   To bad we can't have a Time line map on this sort of thing from last Nov.

     We are now down to only..... 57 Straights from last years 78.

      There are now...41 singles left .......and 16 doubles.  So..... I guess if we figure those hits out over the last year it would have been about .... 21 straight hits for the year..or

                    1.75 per or 1 or 2 straight hits per month.  

   

       That's a Staight Hit almost every other week.....  Hey! I know .. lets just play every 2nd. week of the month. LOL 

   

           Serious ... does anyone know the last time one of those 78 from last Nov 05' hit. Maybe they gave out and blew up after they hit those 5 draws in a row a couple of months back. Could be ready to POP ...again soon.

    Anyone have a current list broken down? Jump in...

  We should see the skip between the last one that came out and where they are now...that would give us an indicator as to when to jump in.
