Kinda is bad for those people who got 5+0 last night, 24 winners paying out 3,444. Not that 3,444 dollars wouldn't be nice, but thats alot of winners for 5 numbers. Why does anyone think those numbers were so popular?

Briand069, it seems to me that a lot of people predicted 6-12-21-26-36, but missed the Mega Number 10. I predicted the Mega Number was 6 because White Ball 6 came out, but I missed.

Briand069....you are right that the numbers/payout for California Super Lotto Plus were weird for last night's drawing. For comparisons sake, the 5+0 for the drawing before this one (two winners) each got over $42,000. Two drawings before (four winners) got over $19,000.
The only thing I can think of is with four of the five of numbers below 31 that people played birthday and anniversary dates and that for some reason 36 was in their list of numbers.
What would be interesting to find out would be how many of the 24 winners were self pick versus quick pick. Does anyone know if the lottery releases that information for an individual draw?
