If I buy 10 sets of quick picks every drawing, on the average, how many times will I match three numbers or better. (Exclude the bonus ball).
Say if I bought 10 sets of random numbers or quicks picks for 10 times, about how often will I win by matching at least 3 out of 5 white balls.
I would prefer at least those who buy quick picks to estimate the answer to this question or better if you buy 10 set of quick picks each drawing to tell me your average.

On riday three co-workers each went to buy $100 worth of tickets.........of the 300 tickets, 32 of them were the same five numbers...that means each of them had 8 combinations that match the other s combo......of these there were 12 that also had the exact same Mega Powr number. So really how diverse are the numbers being spat out of these quick pick machines. And these people went to different stores. Take your chances.

If you buy 10 PB tickets, your odds of winning something according the information on the back of an Indiana play slip are 1:7 and your odds of matching 3+0 are 1:29 or about once every 3½ months. The most I've bought PB tickets is 4 times per year since I have to travel to Indiana for them but I buy MM tickets most every week since they're sold here in Ohio.
* you don't need to buy every combination, just the winning ones *

What do you mean by take your chances?
I play by stats and formats that turns millions of combinations to just a couple of thousands. Because of the format I mostly get results that are close but not precise.
Like with recent winning number 1 - 5 - 16 - 22 - 48 - + - 6

I did a stimulation using 10 recent powerball results. Generating 10 random numbers each time and comparing it to each drawing. After going through all 10 numbers, No line matched at least 3 numbers.
Therefore I am gonna stick with the illusion of my stimulation.

Back of the playslip? What playslip are you looking at? I'm looking at it right now and it says Powerball only is 1:69, and 3+0 is 1:291

LOL, I think you mean simulation, not stimulation.

The previous drawing winning number 13 - 20 - 41 - 42 - 53 - + - 2I got(4751)-04-13-42-48-54-11(8426)-14-16-22-33-48-14(1155)-02-13-25-26-48-15(7090)-08-23-25-48-55-21(3062)-03-14-27-35-37-5(10197)-18-33-39-48-55-13(7997)-12-16-23-37-48-34(2392)-03-06-22-29-34-32(12040)-02-10-24-36-39-25(2011)-03-04-19-24-36-10
Though it seems close, the filtering is still a problem.
I don't know if I should leave it all to quick picks.
Don't leave it all to quick picks!
I am not crazy enough to believe that I can beat odds of 175m:1 with any old number combo.
Do your filtering, tweak the system, put yourself in the right position, with the numbers that are most likely to come up, and pray! That way you only have to be very lucky, instead of beyond lucky.

i think the qps in highly populated states have a better chance,as they turn over more.in a low populated state,it might take 10 years to get the combinations that are chosen now.only 104 combos a year out of millions and millions, and that is not counting repeats.
