  All the time lol!  I give the cookie to my wife or son and keep the fortune to play the number off it lol!  Haven't had a hit yet from them though.  If they lose, I throw them away.  Maybe in the future lol!

  I always play the numbers from my fortune cookies. I've only won 30 dollars though. lol

  I have though I sometimes change a number or three...never have won (or never would have won even with the originals).  Guess they are not so fortunate cookies after all.  Or like I believe...

  Get MONEY!!! Winning a JACKPOT lottery is one  MIRACLE I desire for 2019!!!  NOW come to my subconscious mind you 6 winning numbers!

  There was a guy in D.C. played the same 6 fortune cookie  numbers 6x and hit DC daily 6! jarasan

  im in tennessee and i remember this story and i have tried to play fortune cookie number when i get them along with QP and my own

  Yes I have in the past if I get a good fortune. Now in honor of you excellent post I have drug out a really old fortune (so old it does not have the mega ball which fits into the Texas lotto since it does not have the mega ball anymore either) for a test. Here is what it says.

  “Good luck bestows upon you. You will get what your heart desires”.

  I will use this number tonight for the Texas lotto which by the way is a whopping 66 million 39.8 cash option. I’ll let you know what happens.

  One place where we play regularly quite often has some fortune cookie fortunes that someone has left on the counter.

  I figured it was some kind of omen, so I played them several times.

  Zilch, zip, nada, goose eggs, never hit one number.

  Now I'm starting to think the lotto commission is the one leaving them around <tin hat> and somehow programmed those sets not to hit <tin hat>.

  Seriously though, just more proof to me that for some people this kind of thing works, and for most everyone else it doesn't- it still comes down to luck, that's all there is to it.  

  Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners. 

  

  There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

  IN 1994 I got 4 numbers right in the Texas Lottery.

  I bought chinese food at a supermarket.

  I keep a bunch of fortune cookie slips in a coffee cup on my desk. I play MM twice a week and if the mood strikes me, I pull 4 or 5 slips randomly and whatever numbers are on the slips I eliminate from the field of 56 white balls. Sometimes I throw out winners but sometimes it's all good and I wind up with 3 or 4 winners in my wheel.
