I will greatly appreciate people's help...But i need help in figuring out the odds of Virginia's Cash5, the one for 25 cents..I know that the CAsh5 that cost 1 dollar, the odds are: 1 in 324,632...But this odds are because each ticket cost 1 dollar and you are paying 1 dollar for each combination...(which most of us can afford)....But what about the Cash5 that cost 25 cents and pays 25K, assuming you were playing 1 dollar...If you were playing 1 dollars shouldn't the odds be 1 in 81,158...This is assuming the majority of people that play that game (Cash5 for 25 cents), play 1 dollar & above...And this is more psychology than anything else...Because what i am saying is most of us would be willing to make a 30 dollar bet at a pick5 and don't think we spend a lot of money...But if we were to take those same 30 dollars and bet on Cash5 for 25 cents, we will feel we are getting more for our buck and it wouldn't be 30 dollars/combinations we would be playing but instead 120 dollars or 120 combinations...This is why i say that the odds for Cash5 for 25 cents is more like 1 in 81,158 than 1 in 324,632....If the majority of people played 25 cents then it will be 1 in 324,632 but the majority of people are not going to do that because we/they are accustomed of playing 1 dollar for each ticket...They will play at least 1 dollar...This is why i said is more psychology than anything else...
This is very important guys...Is for my blog (Not LP though, but myspace)...Another question that is important that i find out is:
"If 3 persons win VA's CAsh5 for 25 cents does each person get 25,000 or they divide 25,000 into 3 persons? And if each person receives 25K, what's the maximum amount of winners there could be (WVa's Cash25 can have a maximum of 10 players per draw, what's Va's Cash5 for 25cents)....Guys is very important..Thank you...
